Why is my dehumidifier not collecting water?
Low collection is often caused by low humidity, poor placement, wrong mode, or cold-room conditions.
Troubleshooting
No water collected it might not be the dehumidifier
The room may already be dry, the temperature too low for effective extraction, or the settings wrong for the conditions.
Check humidity first
If room humidity is already near target, the unit may collect less water by design.
Placement and airflow
Keep clearance around intake/outlet and avoid hiding the unit behind furniture or curtains.
Temperature effects
Some models perform poorly in cold rooms. Check whether your unit is suitable for lower temperatures.
